Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, our second annual Art of Jazz Event was held virtually. However, that didn't stop it from being a tremendous success. The Art of Jazz events are the perfect blend of Art and Jazz used to depict life as an African American Woman. Her struggles, her triumphs, her sadness, and joy being expressed by many talented Artists over the past two years.

Art was sold via an online gallery, an online auction was also held to win some of T.H.A.W.'s Fit 4 God Yoga equipment. VIP tickets were also sold in which buyers received, among other things, an autographed print from one of our featured Artist Douglas J. Webster.

Douglas, along with Natiq Jalil (whom gave a live demonstration), headlined the event along with fellow artists: Iris Kirkwood, and Marinda Taliaferro whom showcased beautiful art pieces which were available for purchase. There were also Live Jazz performances by the talented Dennis Garner & TempoNoir, as well as prolific spoken word given to us by Karla Payne who goes by "Spirit Lead."  The event was hosted by the one and only DJ Krazy T. He is a talented DJ and host from the Charlotte NC area.

This year's event is planning to be live once again so stay tuned for details!
